metroblossom's second full issue is an expanded one. While dominated by photographers, the issue incorporates work from artists located half a world apart who have surprisingly similar creative motivations.

Drawing on photographs and paintings created in Europe, North America, South America, and Australia, as well as poetry that evokes both near and far, ancient and contemporary, each artist interprets our fluctuating relationship with the nonhuman world. As a collective, they study the residue of modernism and gingerly inquire about the future.
